Liverpool now has an unbeaten record at home, in Anfield (W21 L7) across their 28 Premier League matches. The club also ended their losing streak in their last five Premier League matches against Manchester City.
The first half of the match led us to a back and forth attack and tight defense. Both teams were very aggressive in the first half but none of them converted a single score. They exited the first 45 minutes in a scoreless.
The second half of the match became more intense. Erling Haaland was denied, specifically during the 64th minute when Alisson saw the chance to push the ball away after Haaland exerted not enough power to pass the defender. On the other hand, Salah continues to observe the flow of the game. De Bruyne committed a poor cross from a free-kick. Alisson launches a kick down the field where Salah is left alone with Cancelo. He easily defeated Cancelo in a one-one and made Edeson rush through the ball while he sent it easily at the back of the net. Liverpool 1 – 0 Manchester City! Liverpool won and Manchester City’s winning streak ended!
