The Boston Celtics came into this match with holding the best record in the NBA with 21-6 record, but it was tarnished and stretched their losing streak to two after thoroughly outplayed by the Clippers 113-93. “Being locked in to their plays, making sure that Tatum is getting double-teamed and Brown is seeing a lot of hands when he shoots the basketball, that’s what it took.”
Boston Coach Joe Mazzulla said that his team lost the poise in the third quarter, a very bad timing when Leonard and Paul George started to rack up the scoresheet. “But the margin for error is small,” Mazulla said. “When you get great looks and you don’t make them you have to find other ways to win.”
