Wolverhampton Wanderers have announced that Bruno Lage will no longer be in charge as the first team coach following a disappointing start to the season, leaving the club in the danger zone with six points from eight matches. “Wolves have parted company with head coach Bruno Lage,” Wolves said in a statement posted in their social media. “We would like to thank Bruno and his coaching team for their efforts during their time at the club and wish them the very best for the future.” Lage took over at Molineux from Portuguese compatriot Nuno Espirito Santo in June 2021. Wolves have won only one game in the last 15 matches they played since a 2-1 win over Aston Villa at Molineux in April.
