- Orlando Magic – Victor Wembanyama, Metropolitans 92 (France)
Height: 7’4
Position: Center
Since the footage of Wembanyama’s one on one training session against his co-French big man in 3x NBA Defensive Player of the Year in Rudy Gobert went viral, the French Phenom has been on the spotlight and almost the talk of the town for being agile, quick, can shoot 3s, can dribble the ball like a point guard, and can do multiple moves like crossovers and step backs.
His name became more of a household name in the basketball world and in the NBA when he participated in the 2021 FIBA U19 World Cup for France. There he showcased his incredible skills for his size and dominated almost every single game against top prospects across the globe such as Jaden Ivey, the second overall pick of the 2022 NBA draft in Chet Holmgren, Patrick Baldwin Jr, and even the undrafted Kenneth Lofton. He led France to a very tight battle against a stacked USA team and finished with a Silver medal. His comparison is into Kristap Porzingis but with developed shooting and dribbling skills.
- Sacramento Kings – Scoot Henderson, G-League Ignite
Height: 6’2
Position: Point Guard
The only reason why this young stud did not enter his name for this year’s NBA Draft is due to his age. He was just 17 years old when he played in the G league and is ineligible to enter his name in the 2022 NBA Draft. Despite his age, he still dominated the last season for Ignite with a notable young star in Dyson Daniels. He averages 14.7 points, 4.9 assists, and 4.7 rebounds as a 17 years old. If this is during Kobe or Dwight’s time, Scoot Henderson might be drafted inside the lottery pick. He is highly compared to a prime Russel Westbrook.
- San Antonio Spurs – Keyonte George, Baylor
Height: 6’4
Position: Guard
This 18 year old Top 3 High School prospect out of IMG and recently committed to Baylor University is a great iso scorer and could give Baylor a wonderful one and done season of college basketball. His scoring prowess and great defensive leap will make various NBA scouts sought for this young athlete. He is like an athletic Eric Gordon with more explosiveness on defense.
- Portland Trailblazers – Dariq Whitehead, Duke
Height: 6’6 ½
Position: Small Forward
In modern basketball, where there is no legit position. Where a big man can play point guard. Where 6’4 – 6’6 can fill the forward to center position. Where the small-ball line up is the new face of the starting five. Dariq Whitehead of Duke University is surely fit in the modern NBA as he is very athletic for his age, can defend well, and can shoot both inside and outside. He is the prototypical wing prospect that could give team space needed and facilitate the defense, especially on the inside. He is a standout two way player getting a comparison to Bradley Beal.
- Houston Rockets – Gregory Jackson, South Carolina
Height: 6’9
Position: Power Forward
This 17 year old 6’9 wingman from South Carolina could give NBA teams and NBA players a problem matchup due to his athleticism and size. He reclassified to 2023 NBA Draft to have a higher chance of landing into a higher draft position. His explosiveness inside will surely provide the team that will draft him an easy bucket and offensive power, in general.
