2022 NBA Trades: Big Names on the Market Include Simmons, Harris, and Horford

In a couple of weeks, the 2022 NBA trade rumors commences. At this point in time, a lot of teams are currently struggling in the NBA and there are those who could use a trade or two. We’re here to take a look at the players and the teams where rumors are rife for one reason or another.

The Atlanta Hawks are only one of a number of teams wanting to make a big move. They’ve made these so far in the Kevin Knox II trade, getting a 2022 first-round pick from the NY Knicks with that package in exchange for now-former players Cam Reddish, Solomon Hill, and a 2025 second-round pick.

Kings Making a Move for Simmons and Harris

Tobias Harris and Ben Simmons are some of the names being brandished about by basketball players in disarray—or so rumors say. News concerning a trade for the two include Buddy Hield, Tyrese Haliburton, and Harrison Barnes, plus two first-rounders. That being said, the Kings are not going to part with their own upstart point guard, De’Aaron Fox, in trades involving the two.

Philadelphia, on the other hand, won’t be seeing Ben Simmons on the court soon. The player has allegedly made his preferences known and that he would rather not play if not traded soon. More reports suggest that the guard is open to sitting out the season as well, if the 76ers fail to find a trade partner.

Celtics on the Block

The Boston Celtics are one of the teams that basketball insiders are observing at the moment. They took part in NBA player trades by acquiring players from a three-team deal—PJ Dozier and Bol Bol. Everyone also knows that the Celtics aren’t having the rosiest of seasons this year, hovering level at the .500 mark before February 10.

According to news outlets, big man Al Horford will be moved once again as the Celtics make him available. Boston will be looking at a backup center that can run their offense as well. This is aside from being a second option to first-stringer, young big Robert Williams III.

What This Means for the League

The trade deadline has traditionally been a big part of the NBA season because of how teams get hugely improved or drastically weakened by it. It’s also a part of 12BET sports betting games as well. There might be some moves made even before the trade deadline arrives.
