They also get some key role players who will likely fill the missing pieces for Lakers Championship contention in Jarred Vanderbilt and Malik Beasley. Follow for upcoming NBA Prediction here!

The full details of the Lakers-Jazz-Minnesota trades:

Lakers received: D’Angelo Russel, Malik Beasley and Jarred Vanderbilt.

The Jazz received: Russell Westbrook, Juan Toscano-Anderson, Damian Jones, and a top-four-protected 2027 first round pick from the Lakers.

Minnesota received: Mike Conley, Nickeil Alexander-Walker and three second-round picks.

After these blockbuster trades, the Los Angeles side did not stop and continued searching for young and reliable players that they can get in order to fill the void and bring back the glory of the Lakers and lightening the hope for another Championship. They also traded Patrick Beverly to Orlando Magic in exchange for Mo Bamba, they also sent Thomas Bryant to Denver Nuggets in order to allow better rotations of wings and big man.

Winner: The Los Angeles Lakers

Los Angeles really finesse the trade deadline and there’s no doubt that they will enjoy better ball movement, free-flow offense, and more concrete defense. On the other hand, Westbrook had a pretty solid campaign this past games as a sixth man, in order to avoid making the misfits with LeBron James and Anthony Davis turn into total misery.

D’Angelo Russel was originally drafted by the Los Angeles as a second overall pick in the 2015 NBA Draft, but his immaturity, off-court antics, and inconsistency found himself getting out of the Lakers and had new success in the Brooklyn Nets, opening a door for him to flourished as one of the best point guard in today’s NBA. Now that he is back in Los Angeles playing a more mature style of basketball, he could really provide needed help and a better fit to star studded Lakers headline LeBron James and Anthony Davis.

Loser: Utah Jazz/Russell Westbrook

Utah Jazz isn’t exactly the loser in this draft as they were originally rebuilding this season, it was initially stopped after they enjoyed the earlier success this season, then found themselves in a losing streak and now in the middle of the pact. So, it is given that this Utah Jazz squad might let go of their veterans in order to have a full rebuild with youngsters and potential NBA draft pick to surround their found new gem in Lauri Markannen.

On the other hand, Russell Westbrook is an obvious loser here, he found himself in various teams over the last five years since he signed an astronomical maximum extension five years ago to OKC. Although, this is not entirely his fault. He could potentially be considered a buyout and signed elsewhere. There are various reports that the Chicago Bulls are interested in signing him.
