The Golden State Warriors got the scoring output in Jordan Poole’s 28 points and Kevon Looney’s double-double of 11 points and 14 rebounds in a loss. This is Dubs third loss in the past four games. Without Stephen Curry, the Warriors fell to 7-22 on the road this season and the current playoff/play-in team with only a single victory in their road campaigns. Kawhi Leonard came into this game fresh from his one-game rest for load management, and he did not fail and chipped in on the first period of the match, giving Clippers an eight point advantage 31-23. However, the Warriors roared back to shoot 61.9% from the field and immediately outscored the Clippers to end the first half 65-61 lead.

Then in the final 24 minutes, Clippers regained their control and punished Curry-less Warriors by scoring a hot 44 points with 62.5% shooting from the field in the third period and had double digits lead 105-93 heading into the final quarter. In the fourth quarter, Clippers reached 23 points advantage 113-95, then Warriors answered back but it was too late as the Clippers sealed the victory at home 134-124. This is the first in three meetings of these two sides within four weeks to complete the season series.
