Dota 2 Bali Major 2023: Schedule & Tournament Format
The Bali Major 2023 is the third Major of the 2023 DPC season, promising intense battles and thrilling gameplay. Spanning from 26th June(group stage) to 9th July (main event) 2023 at the prestigious AYANA Estate in Bali, Indonesia, the tournament comprises a Group Stage and Playoffs, with a total of 18 formidable teams vying for the championship title.
The Group Stage, which runs from 29th June to 3rd July, consists of two groups, each featuring nine teams. Employing a single round-robin format, all teams within each group will face off in Best-of-2 matches.
The top four teams from each group will secure coveted spots in the Upper Bracket of the Playoffs, taking place from 5th to 9th July. The 5th and 6th placed teams from each group will advance to the Lower Bracket, while the remaining teams will be eliminated from the tournament. The Playoffs will showcase twelve teams in total, with eight commencing in the Upper Bracket and four in the Lower Bracket. Matches in this stage will follow a double-elimination bracket format, with Best-of-3 matches throughout. The Grand Final will be an intense Best-of-5 series, ensuring an epic climax to the tournament.
